Flavorful, sweet, moist and delicious – Sweet Potatoes can be enjoyed in so many ways, and this is the time of year I love bake and cook with them! Loaded with Beta Carotene, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Manganese, Sweet Potatoes are not only tasty, but quite healthy too. Baked, roasted or boiled – Sweet Potatoes can add some nutrition and flavor to your fall meals. And yes, what most of us call a “Yam” is technically not a true Yam – it’s a Sweet Potato.
I love Sweet Potato season.
Of course, the Thanksgiving classics are near and dear to my heart – Skillet-fried Sweet Potatoes, Whipped Sweet Potatoes topped with Marshmallows, Sweet Potatoes Casserole with Roasted Pecans, and Candied Sweet Potatoes.
