Philly-style Broccoli Rabe & Sharp Provolone Sandwich

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F
  2. Blanch 1lb of Broccoli Rabe in salted boiling water for about 3 min.
  3. Sauté the following:
    • blanched and drained Broccoli Rabe
    • 4 cloves sliced garlic
    • ¼ tsp Red Pepper flakes
    • 3 tbsp olive oil
  4. sauté until Broccoli Rabe stems are easily pierce with a fork, this will only take a few minutes
  5. Slice two long Crusty Rolls in half long-ways
  6. Spread the sautéed Broccoli Rabe over the bottom half of the rolls
  7. Top both sides of the open rolls with slices of Sharp Provolone Cheese
  8. Toast sandwich open-face in the oven until the cheese melts
