I see a lot of produce boxes in my line of work… a lot.

When I walk the cooler and dock I sometimes come across some box labels that just crack me up.  The potato and onion shippers seem to be having the most fun.  Here are a few wacky ones I’ve seen lately:

Sandy Potatoes: Go ahead, kick back, Sandy.  You’ll be smashed soon!

Sun Beauty Microwave Yams: Ms. Sun Beauty showin’ some leg, but it’s that crazy hat I can’t take my eyes off of!

Grape Guys: Maybe their names are Cartman, Stan and Kyle.  But where’s Kenny?

Costa Oro: That might be a monkey.  And nothing says fresh citrus like a deranged monkey.

Sweetie Sweet Onions: She rolls with Ms. Sun Beauty.  They’re popular.

Potato-Men: You probably knew a guy like this in college too.  Remember the one that always walked around with his shirt off, flexing, wearing sunglasses?  A legend in his own mind.

Farmer’s Daughter: This stoic lass creeps me out.  She looks like one of the girls in the hallway from The Shining.

Huntsinger Potatoes giant: Who would win – Jolly Green Giant or this guy?

Big Boy: Sweetie Sweet’s redneck cousin.  He loves his overalls!

Mr. Tasty: Dude, you have something on your forehead.  Wait, is that… is that butter?
